Shipping info and policies


I aim to ship all orders within 3 working days (usually less).

All UK orders are sent out 2nd class, all overseas orders sent out International Standard Service. These services do not have tracking.

Please allow up to 15 working days for UK mail from estimated delivery date for an item to arrive, 20 working days for European mail, 25 working days for all other international mail.
Your parcel should arrive well within this time but I can't report an item as missing with Royal Mail until after these periods of time have elapsed.

If it remains missing after this time I will do my best to replace your order or will offer you a refund.

International orders over a certain value may be charged customs fees. Any such fees that the items incur are at the buyers expense and responsibility.

Please check that what you are purchasing will be allowed through customs in your country, if items are returned to me due to being refused by customs I will refund the cost of the item, but not the shipping fees.
I mark all customs declarations as containing "fibres for crafts" and do not ship raw fleece to any country due to the paperwork involved, only washed/and or dyed fleece and fibre. However, please check your countries regulations on importing washed fleece before you purchase this item. I would hate for you to miss out on your purchase - or for my lovely sheep's fleece to be destroyed at the point of entry!

Please ensure your shipping address is correctly typed (i.e. initial capitals, post/zip code, appropriate line break spacing). If you need it sent to another address please send me a message at the time of purchasing.
If the item is returned to me undelivered as a result of you incorrectly entering your shipping address on your order I am able to arrange to re-post it to you. However the cost of the second lot of shipping must be borne by the customer.


Payments can be made via Paypal or via a valid debit/credit card (powered by Stripe). All payments are secure. BarberBlackSheep does not store any card details.

You can cancel your order at any time before the order has been posted out, please contact me to arrange this. Once your order has been posted I won't be able to refund you until the item is returned to me. In this situation the refund will be less the amount paid for postage.

Reserving items:

Sometime people as if I will reserve items for them. Except in very rare circumstances it is my policy NOT to reserve items for individuals as this is unfair to other customers. Items are sold through the website shop on a first come, first served basis. Selling items on an individual invoice payment also significantly increases my admin workload and reduces the already limited time I have to create stock. 

Please do not ask me to reserve items for you, this only causes awkwardness for both of us when I have to say no. 


Refunds and exchanges:

Items are sold as seen. Please be aware that your computer screen can show different colours, I do my very best to represent what the actual fibre looks like but please allow for slight variation in colour.
I want you to be happy with your order, please make sure you read the item description before purchasing.

If you are not happy with your item I will accept returns, but at the buyers expense, unless the item is in some way faulty. Refunds will not be processed until the item is returned to me, I recommend you use a form of delivery that requires a signature for your own peace of mind. If you wish to return your item you must contact me within 7 days of receiving your item. In the case of non-faulty or non- damaged items I will only refund the actual cost of your order, not the price paid for postage.

If an item arrives damaged I will refund, or replace the damaged part of your order.
